Why We Exist
MNM TECH-HUB was founded on the recognition that Zimbabwean businesses - large and small - need practical, expert guidance on data protection, technology management, and digital growth. As Zimbabwe's data governance landscape developed, we saw many organisations struggling to know where to begin or how to build sustainable compliance programmes without dedicated in-house expertise.
Our team combines deep knowledge of data protection principles, privacy governance, managed IT, and digital strategy to deliver solutions that are grounded in local context. A results-driven IT professional with 12+ years of experience across network administration, cybersecurity, data protection, and digital strategy — Mlungisi Mnikwa founded MNM TECH-HUB to bring enterprise-grade technology and compliance expertise within reach of every Zimbabwean organisation.
Mlungisi is a POTRAZ-certified Data Protection Officer appointed under Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] and SI 155 of 2024. His compliance expertise spans the full DPO function — developing Data Protection Policies, building Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for high-risk processing, managing breach detection and formal regulatory reporting, and designing staff awareness programmes across complex multi-department environments.
His technical foundations are broad and deep: Cisco CCNA & CCNA Security certified since 2009 and 2012, with extensive hands-on experience in Azure Active Directory, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, VMware, Hyper-V, and Windows Server. He has designed and managed network infrastructure, implemented cybersecurity frameworks, led cloud migrations, and delivered IT training — building a career that spans network engineering, systems administration, Linux engineering, and digital skills facilitation across Zimbabwe.
Academically, Mlungisi holds a Master of Commerce in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management & IT. His certification portfolio includes Fortinet Certified Associate in Cybersecurity, CISA, ISO 9001/14001/45001 Internal Auditor, and postgraduate courses in Cloud Computing Law and Privacy Law from Queen Mary University of London and the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a published author — The Practical Business Guide to AI Assistants is available on Amazon — reflecting his commitment to making complex technology accessible to every business.
